Nothing Trivial About It!

When it comes to rescuing rainforests there are so many ways you can help. Our Daintree Supporters Wrangler, Emily Silverstone, helped local Quiz Master Kevin “KStar” Eldridge throw the second Rainforest Rescue Trivia Night fundraiser.

It was awesome!

Emily is awesome. She said, “I’m just so overwhelmed with all the support we received. Everyone who said they were coming came!! It was huge!!”

In addition to KStar, and (Huge Thanks to) Helen at the Central Hotel, a lot of folks put trivia table teams together, including:

Overall there were about 150 people playing including 20 teams.

And the prizes to support this super night came from Cape Trib to Cairns… some even approached us and asked if they could donate something in support when they saw we were the beneficiaries of this special trivia night. How good is that?!

It was great to have our new Land Manager and our Nursery Manager there to help out – Grant Morrison and Marine Deliens. It’s good to have them come down from the rainforest from time to time.

Also, a big thanks to Narelle, Emily’s trusty side-kick. Narelle works for Daintree Wonder Tours and Daintree Ice Cream Co (so delicious) and Great Barrier Reef Legacy…Em says she couldn’t have done it without her. Thanks, Narelle!
