The Southern Cassowary is the third largest bird in the world. It depends on tropical rainforests, yet today habitat loss and fragmentation threatens its survival. It has been estimated that as few as 1,000 wild Cassowaries remain in Australia.

Rainforest Rescue is replanting rainforest trees to provide habitat for the endangered Cassowary. Your gift will help us to restore the Daintree rainforest, create wildlife corridors and provide food plants for the Cassowary.
