In less than a couple of weeks, we’ll gather for our Annual Community Tree Planting—an event that embodies the spirit of Rainforest Rescue. It’s a time of coming together, getting our hands dirty, and celebrating our shared commitment to conservation. This year is extra special as we mark our 25th Anniversary alongside this cherished tradition.
In this fourth instalment of our 25th Anniversary series, I want to honour the heart and soul of these community events—our incredible supporters like you!
Your unwavering support is the cornerstone of Rainforest Rescue. It makes everything we do possible and empowers us to conserve and restore more rainforest than ever before.
I invite you to join me in casting a wider net to include everyone who has been part of our journey over the last quarter century. Below, we’ve captured a set of treasured memories, you may recognise someone—or even yourself—in these snapshots:
You and thousands of Rescuers like you deeply care about rainforests—from the spectacular Daintree to Pyengana, Big Scrub, and beyond. These moments reflect the power of community coming together for a common purpose.
Throughout the year, we want to gather and share more memories with all our supporters…if you have a rainforest experience that you’d like others to hear about—whether you planted a tree, volunteered at an event, voiced your conservation views, or fundraised to protect rainforests—your stories are invaluable. Send them directly to me at giving@rainforestrescue.org.au and please do indicate if you would prefer to remain anonymous.
Together, we are a growing community building a lasting legacy. The impact we make together shines through in the stories we’re sharing.
I look forward to your memories.
For the rainforests,
César, on behalf of the whole team at Rainforest Rescue.
