2023 Canopy Awards

In February 2022, Rainforest Rescue launched the first-ever global competition for rainforest photography, with each photo entered contributing towards the protection of one square meter of rainforest habitat. In partnership with two of Australia’s world-renowned photographers – Darren Jew and Jasmine Carey, the Rainforest Rescue Canopy Awards were created to shine the light on the need to protect rainforests worldwide.

The 2022 Canopy Awards, the first of many, attracted over 250 entries from around the world. If you followed the 2022 awards, you may be aware that we held the voting for the People’s Choice Award on Instagram. This year, we’ve decided to move the People’s Choice voting over to Facebook where we can create an album showing all of the images shortlisted for voting and make it easier for you to share the images you love.

We’ll be announcing the entry window dates for the 2023 Canopy Awards soon. Keep an eye on canopyawards.org and sign up for the mailing list to be the first to know.
